How a Skipjack Pod Became Claire’s Dream Garden Office
Claire Moorhead, interior designer (33 Interior Styling) and mum, wanted a space that felt peaceful, private and inspiring – somewhere she could work, relax and create, all year round.
After choosing a Skipjack Pod, she transformed part of her garden into a beautifully styled outdoor office that now doubles as a yoga space, creative studio and future guest room.
Since installation, the pod has become a true lifestyle upgrade – improving her productivity, mental wellbeing and even adding potential value to her home. What started as an office has become, in Claire’s words, “a dream come true.”

Our Customer’s Experience
How did you first hear about Hully Pods?
I discovered Hully Pods while researching high-quality outdoor living spaces. As an interior designer, I’m always looking at form, function and finish and the pods immediately stood out.
What challenges/problems necessitated the purchase of a Hully Pod?
Working from home meant I needed a peaceful, private space away from the house. With kids and family life, it can be difficult to concentrate indoors. I wanted somewhere I could properly work and also relax.
What were you looking for in terms of a garden room solution?
I wanted a fully insulated space I could use all year round, with proper electrics and a quality interior finish. It needed to feel like a real room – not a shed and it had to look beautiful in the garden.
What made Hully Pods stand out over other solutions that you researched?
The craftsmanship really stood out. The tongue and groove wood interior, vinyl wood flooring, mains electrics, ceiling strip light and large window made it feel premium and thoughtfully designed.I also loved that over 1,000 recycled plastic bottles are used in each pod – that sustainability element really matters. Knowing it was made by local expert craftspeople and delivered fully assembled made the whole experience even better.
How has your Hully Pod helped you since it arrived?
Working from home this way has genuinely changed my life. It’s so peaceful and private, and being surrounded by nature really does boost mental health. I had my first full day working in there and kept stopping just to look around in disbelief – I felt so content and calm. It’s now my office, my yoga and meditation space, and a place to properly switch off. We’re even planning to add a sofa bed so it can double as an extra bedroom. It’s also added usable, year-round space to our home and outdoor living spaces like this can add 5–10% value to a property, which makes it feel like a real investment.
What plans do you have to use your Hully Pod in the future?
We’ll continue using it as a shared workspace – although there may be the occasional squabble over who gets to work in there!Long term, I want it to remain a flexible space for work, relaxation, yoga and potentially guests. It’s such a versatile addition to our home.
Is there anything else we should know?
It truly feels like a dream come true. The pod still smells like freshly cut wood when it arrives, which says everything about the quality. It’s not just a garden office – it’s a lifestyle upgrade. And even the pets love it.
