What challenges/problems necessitated the purchase of a Hully Pod?

I have an abandoned barn that I will be converting in to a house. In order to work on the project, we need to stay on site as it is a long way from home. My 85 year old Grandma had an old caravan however it was letting damp in and the access was not safe or suitable for her. We needed a better solution for her accommodation.

What were you looking for in terms of a garden room solution?

I was initially looking for a camping solution that was off grid, easy access for my grandma, and provided her a warm and dry place to sleep for a reasonable price.

What made Hully Pods stand out over other solutions that you researched?

Hully Pods stood out to me because of the customisable options and quality of craftsmanship. It was an added bonus that the pod is made from recycled plastic, well insulated and has a long lifespan. Compared to other solutions researched, the price was very reasonable and made the purchasing one possible.

How has your Hully Pod helped you since it arrived?

My Hully Pod arrived on the 21st December. Grandma was keen to spend her first night in the pod that night. She was so excited about its arrival and the possibilities that are now open to her, it was like Christmas came early. Camping over Christmas and in January is cold and knowing that she is safe and in the warm is a weight off of our minds. She now looks forward to spending the night and even just sat reading in her pod. We have the solar panel pack and it is still exciting that we can turn a light on and charge phones from the electricity produced. The colour compliments the windows of the barn and ties it in to the property. We have had a lot of neighbours admire it.

What plans do you have to use your Hully Pod in the future?

In the future, when more building works are taking place, Grandma will camp in her pod and be on site to oversee the work as well as having her own private space. She is looking forward to more camping trips in her pod, safe in the knowledge that it is dry, safe and easily accessible.

Is there anything else we should know?

My only slight adjustment would be the placement of the solar panel battery. With a bed, it restricts the orientation of the room and the storage possibilities beside the bed.
