We design and build affordable garden Pods for people who need extra room to work, play and relax. Hully is a dynamic, growing company committed to design innovation and problem-solving. Each garden Pod is made to order by expert craftspeople with the greatest care. Hully Pods are available in three sizes and multiple colours and can be customised to suit your extra space needs.
Background
When our founder Aidan decided to design a glamping room, he reimagined a boat’s hull. Using a combination of boat-building techniques and an understanding of marine materials, he created the first Hully garden Pod. Since then, the team at Hully has grown to employ skilled craftspeople and built hundreds of Pods for happy customers all around the UK.
Boat-building heritage
At Hully we use traditional techniques to create unique spaces for modern living.
Each Pod is made by hand by craftspeople in our workshop on the banks of the river Itchen in Southampton using specialist boat-building techniques.
Planet-friendly
More than eight million tonnes of plastic are dumped into the oceans each year, putting marine wildlife in grave danger.
Like many organisations, we have chosen to move away from selling products made from virgin plastics. Hully Pods are made from recycled materials giving waste plastics a new, purposeful life. Over one thousand 500ml plastic bottles are recycled in every Skipjack Pod and over three hundred in every Dory.

So pleased with my Dory Hully . The company are so easy to deal with and helped me sort out the access for the hully delivery by doing a FaceTime call. I got the Hully as I needed a work space as I was fed up of working out of my bedroom. The hully was a much cheaper and less hassle option than converting the garage . The fact you can just place it on a level ground and plug in to the electric and it was half the price was a real selling point for me. It also means I can take it with me if I choose to. We’re absolutely thrilled with our Hully Pod. The entire process, from initial contact to installation, was seamless. The pod itself is fantastic value for money and has transformed our garden. Steve, the delivery driver, was exceptional and made the task of placing the pod onto the base in the corner of the garden a breeze. I couldn't recommend Hully Pods highly enough.
We were looking for a compact office shed and found Hully Pods. To be honest, I was a bit concerned they were too good to be true - they're so much cheaper than the alternatives, delivery is included, they're fully kitted out electrically and could go on our existing gravel with no ground works - however, we are so glad we went for a Hully. It's absolutely perfect, communication has been great with the company and it even came with it's own little bar of chocolate! If you're thinking of going for a Hully pod - let this be the sign
We decided to upgrade our Wedding Glampsite at www.blackwaterfarmcornwall.co.uk this year from five high maintenance Bell tents to five gorgeous Hully pods. Communication with Hully was excellent, they always responded quickly and noted our exact design requests. The pods were delivered on schedule (within a very tight window between weddings) and we had the beds in and they were up a running within a few days. The build quality is excellent, they are fully waterproof and quirky both in terms of shape and the graded colours we have chosen. We were keen that guests could have a quite night on site and the double glazing on the main door works perfectly to create a peaceful space which smells of new pine, while the small window at the back allows cool air to circulate. We have kept our pods simple, just a bed (or a double and two singles in the schooner) with a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities and the guest feedback has already been very positive. We mounted our pods on shepherds hut wheels and adding decking to make them extra special, and we are looking forward to glamming them up even more over the next few weeks.
