No more merry-go-round of rooms: Alexander’s Dory Office Pod
Alexander's family lives in a three-bed garden flat, and on school days he had to keep moving from room to room to find somewhere to work. He wanted something discreet, bright, well insulated and with electricity, and found Hully through a Google image search after a patchy experience with another online company. After digging out the foundations, the Dory Office Pod slotted in perfectly. Now he has a dedicated place to 'go to work', and colleagues on calls ask if he is in a sauna because of the pine interior.

What challenges/problems necessitated the purchase of a Hully Pod?
We live in a three bed garden flat. On the days that the children are back from school, I have had to do a merry-go-round of rooms where I can work. As such, some sort of outside solution was necessary.
What were you looking for in terms of a garden room solution?
We were looking for something discreet, bright inside, well insulated with electricity.
What made Hully Pods stand out over other solutions that you researched?
We saw your pods through another online company. When their sales process and product detail was really patchy, I did an image search on Google and found the source company: Hully. On reading up on the company, nautical background, simplicity of product, we knew this was the one to go for in the context of the front garden area we had available.
How has your Hully Pod helped you since it arrived?
The sales process was streamlined (Kianna excellent) and the delivery very straightforward. It had taken time to dig out the foundations and remove 45 sacks of earth, but it meant the pod slotted in perfectly.Our pod has transformed how we live. I now have a dedicated place to work and ‘go to work’. It’s super warm with the radiator and people always comment when I’m on calls whether I’m in my sauna due to the pine interior (which smells great)! I keep a tarp over it so it’s quite discreet when not in use. Love it!!
