Mr Fosbrook needed somewhere to work from home and somewhere to train, and the house had room for neither. Instead of joining a gym or giving up a bedroom, he put both into one Skipjack Pod in his garden.

One pod, two zones
He wanted a building that went in quickly, lasted, and didn’t need painting, and that felt like a proper room he would use every day. Now the Pod has a quiet work zone for the day and a training zone he uses whenever it suits him. No commute to a gym, and no distractions from the house while he works. One of his photos looks out from the desk through the glazed door onto a wintry garden.
It’s given me two clear zones: a quiet space to work during the day, and a gym I can use whenever it suits me.

How did you first hear about Hully Pods?
I found Hully Pods online while looking for garden room solutions that could work for more than one purpose.
What challenges/problems necessitated the purchase of a Hully Pod?
I needed extra space for both working from home and exercising. I didn’t want to join a gym or travel back and forth, and there simply wasn’t room in the house for both an office and gym equipment.
What were you looking for in terms of a garden room solution?
Something that could be installed quickly, would last long term, and wouldn’t need regular maintenance. It also needed to feel like a proper space I could use every day – not just a temporary building.
What made Hully Pods stand out over other solutions that you researched?
The design and build quality. It didn’t look like a typical timber garden room, and I liked that it wouldn’t need painting or ongoing upkeep.
How has your Hully Pod helped you since it arrived?
It’s given me two clear zones: a quiet space to work during the day, and a gym I can use whenever it suits me. There’s no commuting to a gym and no distractions from the house when I’m working.
