About Us
We design and build affordable garden Pods for people who need extra room to work, play and relax. Hully is a dynamic, growing company committed to design innovation and problem-solving. Each garden Pod is made to order by expert craftspeople with the greatest care. Hully Pods are available in three sizes and multiple colours and can be customised to suit your extra space needs.

Background
When our founder Aidan decided to design a glamping room, he reimagined a boat’s hull. Using a combination of boat-building techniques and an understanding of marine materials, he created the first Hully garden Pod. Since then, the team at Hully has grown to employ skilled craftspeople and built hundreds of Pods for happy customers all around the UK.
Boat-building heritage
At Hully we use traditional techniques to create unique spaces for modern living.
Each Pod is made by hand by craftspeople in our workshop on the banks of the river Itchen in Southampton using specialist boat-building techniques.
Planet-friendly
More than eight million tonnes of plastic are dumped into the oceans each year, putting marine wildlife in grave danger.
Like many organisations, we have chosen to move away from selling products made from virgin plastics. Hully Pods are made from recycled materials giving waste plastics a new, purposeful life. Over one thousand 500ml plastic bottles are recycled in every Skipjack Pod and over three hundred in every Dory.
Mission
We are committed to making a positive impact. Hully is passionate about building a community. We employ local people and consider our customers part of the Hully family. We are a design-led company, dedicated to solving problems with innovation at our very heart.

What our customers say . . .
I've been using my Pod for more than a year and it's a delight. A couple of challenges - I've yet to find a heater which has an accurate temperature control. I also find during mobile phone calls that I hear clearly but my voice is almost impossible to understand unless I stand outside the Pod. Any suggestions?
Excellent communication and customer service throughout. The pod is brilliant, delivery was quicker than expected and I've now got a perfect extra 'room' at home!
Great service recieved from ordering to delivery , we purchased a Dory office pod for home working and photo editing , the space inside is amazing for their smallest pod . Would definately recommend Hully Pods . Fran and John

So happy with my Hully Pod it’s fantastic, Jasmine was an amazing help with my order. Highly recommend the quality is excellent.
The pods are lovely and work so well...I just have a couple of very simple things that I think would make a big improvement.I was a little shocked that the 16amp socket on the outside of the pod was just IP44 rated, It would be much better if this was at least IP67 rated, which is both waterproof and dust proof. The IP44 rating is not really fully waterproof. The Ethernet port....not really a port just a hole with a brush front plate on it....if you look through the brushes you can clearly see the daylight beaming in from the outside shroud....the hole behind this brushed front plate, through the wood panelling is not big enough or deep enough, between the inner and outer skin to fit and RJ45 module into the front plate. External Cat 6 cable is quite rigid, stiff and bulky to just terminate in a RJ45 plug, so it needs to go into a proper RJ45 euro socket with a surface mount back box. This should be included as standard in the 'Ethernet port' package especially considering the extra that's charged for this. A standard single 25mm surface mount socket back box and a euro front plate with the RJ45 module is less than £10., much less than the £40. charged for the featureless brushed front plate.Insulation - it must be quite thin in between the inner and outer skin because when it rains, heck it's so loud, thicker insulation would also act for better sound proofing.
